Translator, Interpreter, and Language Educator

Yoko Ikegami is a freelance translator and interpreter specializing in English–Japanese and German–Japanese translation. A graduate of Dokkyo University, she has translated business documents, publications, manuals, and other professional materials across a wide range of industries.

She is the founder of Ohisama House, a language learning center offering language education, translation training, and study-abroad support. Drawing on extensive experience in both education and professional translation, she helps students and professionals achieve their academic and career objectives.

Ms. Ikegami is the author of several language-learning and translation books, including A Practical Guide to Business Email Expressions in English. Her teaching emphasizes practical communication, real-world language use, and clear guidance.
